Location: Surbiton, London

About the Company: We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool. The stunning 80-place setting is set in a spacious, converted Victorian detached house in a quiet residential area, and benefits from plenty of onsite parking as well as great public transport links, and is only 10 minutes’ walk from Surbiton rail station.

What we’re looking for:

  • Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
