Test Technician

The candidate for this role will be familiar, or keen to learn, data logging/data acquisition, operating complex test equipment (training will be provided) and documenting such results. At Sunamp we are on a mission to transform the way we generate, store and use heat in our homes and businesses, to help us all make a significant impact on climate change. To do this, we develop and manufacture heat batteries which use phase change materials to provide heat and hot water.

Our best-selling Thermino range of heat batteries are manufactured in Scotland and replace hot water cylinders to deliver fast flowing hot water on demand. Documenting results to the standard set by senior Test Engineers
Proactively identify quality issues
Propose improvements to testing technologies, methodologies and procedures
Verify Sunamp products software features, compatibility, and performance, through robust and stable test criteria’s
Understanding of test methodologies and UK and International standards that relate to the product under test, for product compliance and performance criteria’s

Able to learn (train will be provided) how to commission and log a multitude of sensor types (flow, temperature, pressure and more)
Use of Microsoft Office application to generate reports and perform data analysis (excel)
Plumbing and Electrical practical hands-on skills
Able to learn basics of Data Acquisition Systems (data logging)
