Our client is a highly respected London-based architectural practice with a diverse project portfolio across workplace, residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. They place a strong emphasis on sustainability and low-energy design and are expanding their team with a dedicated Passivhaus Architect to support their growing pipeline of environmentally driven projects.

We are seeking an experienced Passivhaus Architect to join our client’s London studio. The successful candidate will play a key role in embedding Passivhaus principles across project stages, contributing design and technical expertise to deliver high-performance, low-energy buildings.
This is an opportunity to join an established team within a forward-thinking practice that is actively elevating its sustainability standards across all projects.

Lead or contribute to the design and delivery of Passivhaus and ultra-low-energy projects.
Develop detailed energy modelling using PHPP (Passivhaus Planning Package).
Oversee the Passivhaus certification process on relevant projects.
Produce and review technical details to ensure compliance with Passivhaus requirements (airtightness, thermal bridging, building fabric performance).
Remain up to date with evolving Passivhaus standards, technologies, and UK building regulations.

Qualified Architect with 3–5+ years of post-qualification experience.
Demonstrable experience working on Passivhaus or ultra-low-energy projects.
Strong technical design skills with an excellent understanding of building physics.
Proficiency in PHPP software.
Strong Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite skills.
Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages.
Knowledge of LETI, RIBA 2030, and net-zero carbon frameworks.
Experience with on-site supervision relating to airtightness and construction quality.
