This rewarding role is to start from September 2024 and will be long-term, full-time. There will be an opportunity to take up a direct, permanent contract with the school if the role suits you Early Years SEND Practitioner responsibilities and duties: You will be expected to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who may require additional academic, SEND and behavioural support. You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher’s guidance to deliver material and interventions. You will be expected to support and follow the school’s policies and procedures. You will be required to take a hands-on approach, helping with personal care routines where required. You will work closely with the SENCo to develop and adapt the provision for pupils with SEND and communication difficulties. Early Years Practitioner Requirements: A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years. Experience supporting SEND with children or adults. Experienced supporting challenging and complex needs is highly advantageous. Willingness and confidence to help assist with personal care routines. A genuine passion for education and learning and a pro-active approach. Commitment, resilience and patience. Early Years SEND Practitioner Salary and Benefits: Competitive rates of pay between £90 - £100 per day. 24/7 support and feedback from experienced education consultants. Exposure and networking opportunities to associated schools. The opportunity to work in a highly rewarding environment and take up a permanent contract. Incredible supportive team of staff at the school. Additional Requirements Reference details will be requested prior to registration. A current and valid UK Driving License would be advantageous.
