* The ingredients department at Arla Foods produces 18000 tons of permeate powder and 4000 tons of whey protein concentrate using membrane, evaporator and drying technology. Our customers use the products as ingredients in foods and have high demands for quality and food safety.
Fault finding and troubleshooting across varied PLC controlled equipment - Fillers, Labellers, Packers, Conveyors systems, Chillers, Compressors and so on
* Driving PPM and servicing activities and other proactive maintenance strategies
* Projects; driving improvement projects and modifications through to supporting on site CAPEX
Milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators process systems, cheese vats, blenders, slicers, packers, weighers, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, trolley packers. Palletisers, de-palletisers, conveyor lines (chain, spiral), robots (Kuka), vision systems, Spectrum TX rejection system, Xray checkers, industrial dryers, refrigerated rooms, steam generators, water softeners, cooling towers, CHP system Air handing units, HVAC, water treatment, steam boilers, chillers, compressors. Ideally will be time served/apprentice trained engineering with professional qualifications (NVQ level 3/ ONC/HNC /HND) or proven experience with fast paced manufacturing environment
* Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production and Process environments
* Ideally you will have experience with fast- moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLC’s (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, processes), CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant)
* Computer literate - SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI’S
