Our client is a leading manufacturer of food products who have been established for over 100 years. Their site in Leicester produces several high-quality products and supplies into all the major multiples, their group turnover peaks at £1bn. The business has major growth plans and has recently seen a significant investment across their sites and are also looking to enhance their capacity on site with the introduction of new production lines in the coming years.

Due to their continued growth, they have been able to increase their team size within engineering which has resulted in the need for a maintenance planner to join their established team.

As a maintenance planner you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for providing a large engineering team their schedule for that day, including preventative maintenance, scheduled downtime, and project work.

Managing external contractors, checking they have the correct RAMMS, PPE, work permits and setting up SLA contracts
Experience working as a maintenance planner
Experience managing a team to complete maintenance
