Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answer YES to all the questions below:

  • Do you have your Class 2 Driving Licence?
  • Do you have 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle?
  • Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi and a DCPC Card?
We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. HGV Class 2 Driver - Role & Responsibilities: As an HGV Class 2 Driver for this client, you will be responsible for:
  • Driving a fully branded HGV vehicle
  • You will be expected to drive an array of vehicles, including 3.5t van, 7.5T, 12T or 18T (pay will be the same regardless of the vehile)
  • Delivering pharmaceuticals to patients homes
  • You will be delivering dextrose monohydrate for dialysis machines)
  • Multi-drop routes - 8/12 deliveries per shift
  • Physically demanding routes with heavgy lifting required (up & down stairs etc)
  • Required to keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
  • Excepted to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations
You will be given 2 weeks training before you begin. HGV Class 2 Driver - Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday working
  • Various shifts available
  • 05:00 - 07:00 start times
