Our vision is to be the most loved, progressive and responsible way to travel for generations to come. Since we took over on the East Coast mainline, we've been changing the face of rail travel. LNER is looking for a data-driven, commercially minded analyst to lead the insight and research foundation of our Fares Reform Programme, one of the Secretary of State's top five deliverables and a key strategic priority for LNER. This high-impact role will shape how we simplify fares, deliver fairer prices for customers, and drive incremental revenue to support LNER's long-term commercial goals.
Reporting to the Revenue Optimisation Analysis and Insights Lead, you'll own the programme's analytical agenda, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. With your excellent communication skills, you will influence and empower senior internal and external stakeholders, guiding decision-making across LNER and the wider rail industry aligned with the Programme's vision. You'll also scope and oversee research activity, ensuring all proposals are data-led, customer-focused, and commercially robust.
Alongside this, you'll help build and strengthen LNER's analytical framework within the Revenue Optimisation & Strategy team, developing dashboards, reports, and data processes that support a test-and-learn culture and deliver measurable revenue growth.
Lead the analysis for LNER's Fares Reform Programme, assessing commercial, customer, and operational impacts of proposals.

Ensure data quality, accuracy, and statistical robustness in all analyses.
Conduct regular programme reviews, reporting on commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact.
