Senior Quality Engineer

5-hour week Monday to Friday (Flexitime, Core Hours 9am-4pm Mon to Thu & 9am-12:30pm Fri)

£Our client is a leading tier 1 manufacturer within the automotive sector (and others) supplying to customers globally.

Due to incoming company projects and growth they are now in the need for a permanent Senior Quality Engineer to join the team.

5 years professional experience in a Quality Engineer position

* Use of SAP Quality Management

* Plan and coordinate quality activities in conjunction with the Quality Manager to ensure all components; Provide quality planning and training as necessary to support the successful launch of new parts, processes,

* Investigate and resolve Customer Complaints and Warranty claims and assess their causes to close out.

* Liaise with suppliers and internal operations to effectively resolve all issues, promote quality, productivity improvements and cost reduction.

* Using Quality Tools for the Analysis of defects in materials and products and recommends corrective measures to maintain quality standards. Maintains and continually improves the quality of the product, monitor & report quality KPI’s.

* Drives corrective and preventative actions including process and product design improvements for procedural, product or product deficiencies through the analysis of data.

* Attend daily SQDIP meetings, investigate, resolve & report shop floor quality issues

* 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays (Option to purchase 5 days after probation period)
