This constraint facilitates target binding with high affinity and selectivity, making Bicycle molecules attractive candidates for drug development. and BT7480, a Bicycle Tumor-Targeted Immune Cell Agonist (Bicycle TICA ) targeting Nectin-4 and agonizing CD137, in company-sponsored clinical trials. Additionally, the company is developing Bicycle Radio Conjugates (BRC) for radiopharmaceutical use and, through various partnerships, is exploring the use of Bicycle technology to develop therapies for diseases beyond oncology. Bicycle Therapeutics is headquartered in Cambridge, UK, with many key functions and members of its leadership team located in Cambridge, MA.
The Senior Director of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) reports to the Vice President of Quantitative Pharmacology group. In partnership with drug discovery medicinal chemists, biologists, pharmacologists and toxicologists, you will be responsible for leading a small team of DMPK scientists supporting multiple projects from target identification through to candidate selection and ultimately regulatory submission.
Provide DMPK scientific leadership across all stages of the portfolio.
Oversee the quality and performance of all DMPK activities including interactions with external CRO’s and internal project stakeholders.
Integrate data from multiple sources to inform on the understanding of bicyclic peptide distribution, metabolism and excretion.
Work closely with discovery team and regulatory team to author and review DMPK related IND documents
Managing DMPK budgets for CRO’s and monitoring CROs to ensure delivery of quality data on time.
Support leadership of the Quantitative Pharmacology group and junior staff development
PhD in relevant scientific discipline such as drug metabolism, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences.
Significant experience working on DMPK drug discovery and/or development projects with a track record of successful delivery.
Ability to adapt your working style to suit different cultures and partner expectations in both remote and office-based environment.
Nice-to-have: experience on radio-pharm projects
