An established, mid-size Building Services Consultancy based in Nottingham, is expanding their team and are recruiting for an intermediate level Electrical Design Engineer to work on several high-profile projects across a variety of sectors.

Established for nearly 20 years with a broad and secure client base, this company work on a wide range of award winning, interesting, sustainable and low carbon projects. You will have access to training and development through knowledgeable teams alng with internal and external training programmes. The business has a growing team of friendly, experienced, and sociable staff with a proven track record of progression and promoting senior engineers and directors from in house.

To ensure engineers are offered a varied project workload, typical project types include Education, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Leisure and Healthcare.

The company's current need is for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer who has previously worked within a building services consultancy environment or a design environment within contractors, and who has a varied project portfolio experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior / intermediate engineer to further their career and join a successful Nottingham City Centre consultancy. You will be working as part of internal and wider project design teams and will work with energy modelers and low carbon consultnts to establish energy strategies. Day to day, you will be responsible for preparation of designs, calculations, specifications and reports, site visits, meetings, and inspection of installation works and assisting senior engineers in managing projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft software

* Basic knowledge of Revit, Amtech, Relux

* Minimum of 3 years experience in Building Services Consultancy;

* Good experience of electrical detail design and D&B;

* Competent user of design software;

* Competent user of AutoCAD/Revit;
