Costain have a rare opportunity for a Head of Delivery to take a Strategic lead role within a highly respected main partner operatingin the Southern Water (SWS) sector region. This is a senior appointment, and weare looking for someone with real drive and passion to further strengthen the CMDP relationship with SWSand take the framework to the next level.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Framework Director, this isa hands-on role, as well as strategic management, client development, peoplemanagement, community and customer orientation with a digital vision.

KeyResponsibilities
Lead the CMDP team in all aspects of delivery
Providestrategic and professional guidance to Construction Managers, Project Managersand wider members of the team
Actively champion wellbeing, safety and environmentperformance, and compliance throughout your team to create a safety culture toensure Zero LTI and RIDDOR Incidents
Develop and maintain a high-performance culture acrossthe CMDP team, delivering efficiencies and continuous improvement
Provide whole life oversight and accountability for thesuccessful delivery of projects, through design, procurement, assembly,commissioning, and handover
Deliver commercial and financial performance in line withbudget expectations
Promote and actively demonstrate collaborative behaviourswithin the CMDP JV team
Ensure compliance with SWS and CMDP governancerequirements
Establish and grow excellent relationships with SWS andother Delivery Partners

About You
Extensive experience in leading, managing, developing, andmotivating senior people and teams - your leadership skills will be key tosuccess in this role
Able to demonstrate a real passion for construction andproject delivery
Significant amount of contract delivery experience whereyou have successfully managed a regional framework of multiple projects and/orprogrammes of a complex or critical nature in a collaborative deliveryenvironment
Technical understanding of Water and Wastewater treatment
Confident making high risk decisions whilst maintainingyour commitment to excellence
Strong communicator with the ability to build strong,trusting stakeholder and partner relationships and influence at all levels toachieve mutual success
Excellent knowledge, and experience of CDM andConstruction & Engineering Management
Solid commercial, financial and analytical skills
Experience with Digital Strategy in construction

Qualifications andTraining
HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline
SMSTS qualification
NEC PM accreditation (preferred)
Association of Project Management APMP (preferred)
