MERJE is delighted to be partnering a FTSE250 listed FMCG business who are recruiting the newly created role of Insurance & Business Continuity Manager. The company is a prominent player in the FMCG industry, known for its innovative products and commitment to excellence. This is unique and exciting opportunity to join a business as they look to embed a new Risk, Control and Audit function, offering you an exciting opportunity to oversee critical risk management strategies and ensure business resilience. The Insurance and Business Continuity Manager role is pivotal in safeguarding the company's operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in insurance and business continuity planning within the FMCG sector (Other industries will be considered).

Key Responsibilities of the Insurance and Business Continuity Manager:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive insurance and business continuity plans
  • Assess and mitigate potential risks to the company's operations
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective risk management
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of business continuity procedures
  • Provide expert advice on insurance matters and claims management

Required knowledge and experience for the Insurance and Business Continuity Manager role:

  • Proven experience in insurance and business continuity management within the FMCG sector
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant professional qualifications in insurance or business continuity
  • Ability to lead and implement complex projects
