Design Project Architect

We work on projects across the whole of the UK and with some fantastic clients creating highly personalised and luxurious interiors. We work on projects from concept to fruition and pride ourselves on creating strong and long-lasting relationships with our clients.
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Architect at Indie Interiors . You will be extremely proficient in SketchUp and have strong experience in creating detailed drawings of everything from bathrooms, cabinetry and interior architecture. Although this role is primarily for that of an interior architect you will have exposure to the whole process behind a project from beginning to end. As we are a small design company, we often have to work across the entirety of the business in order to gain the best results for our clients and create the most unique designs. Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
Extremely proficient in SketchUp, layout and other design software
Strong knowledge of building regulations with site experience on plumbing , electricals etc
Effective communication and project management skills
Attention to detail and a creative mindset
Experience in residential design projects
Driving Licence is a must
Must be willing to travel to projects with early starts or late finishes. This is paid as overtime or can be taken as time in lieu. Advance diary planning is always done to allow for forward planning.

~ Our office is based in Stafford however we have a large amount of projects in the South East and would consider a candidate based in the South. We could accommodate a hybrid based role for the right candidate but there is still a requirement to be in the office when asked if it optimises the project workflow. Some of our designers work part of the day and part of the evening and others work long days Mon-Thurs and a short day on a Friday. The director believes we all enjoy working here much more if it helps to fit with your own lives however it must not impact the business and work must also still be produced at the expected rate.


Overall we are a hard working but fun, very open and transparent design studio who collectively celebrate our wins and are extremely determined to create a studio which is recognised globally.
