As a Regional Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in the service delivery and maximization of revenue through the growth of bookings organically and acquisitions across hub locations in the southern counties. You will be responsible for managing internal supplier relationships and oversee the management of your regional hub(s), with focus on increasing booking numbers and raising your brand profile amongst Driver Partners, passengers and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributing to the P&L performance of the local hubs and overall operating region.
  • Delivery of high levels of customer service to both DPs and to account customers/passengers
  • Ensuring effective integration of acquisitions including full project ZULU compliance
  • Supporting the regional and local JBC operations
  • Ensuring the effective and appropriate management of the passenger complaints process
  • Through the DP and passenger NPS data improve DP communications and improve overall levels of service to DPs
  • Manage the regional hire fleet ensuring high levels of utilization and efficient fleet maintenance.
  • Manage and develop the DPET team to ensure the region is well resourced to provide high levels of DP service.
  • Manage the DP Hubs estate to ensure facilities are updated and a good working environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the regional local marketing plan.
  • Deliver increased use of Veezu Assist and drive volume sales in Partner Plus products.
  • Deliver an increased DP bookings activity rate.

LICENSING

  • Work with the relevant Local Licensing Authorities as key day-to-day contact
  • Ensure the region operates to company standards on compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory matters.
  • Develop ongoing relationships with district licensing officers.

BOOKING VOLUMES

  • Support the growth in booking volumes through high levels of customer and passenger service.
  • Understand your stakeholder profile and work alongside your Regional Team and Support
  • Office functions to design and execute a plan to increase bookings on a continuous basis.
  • Lead on a local marketing strategy for increasing bookings from existing users and new ones, raising brand awareness amongst all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on all regional marketing initiatives/campaigns for increasing booking volumes.

DRIVER PARTNER ENGAGEMENT

  • Develop a business where Veezu is seen as market leaders within the region amongst driver partners, leading to increased loyalty and DP activity rates
  • Be the main point of contact with VSL and manage the supplier relationship appropriately with timely reports on driver partner volumes and intelligence gathering.
  • Develop and improve the local brand(s) amongst driver partners to sustain and increase the volume of active DPs.
  • Understand the local DP profile to ascertain the offering of the competition and continuously feedback to VSL and VAL to ensure appropriate offerings can be provided in the Region.
  • Be responsible for the relationship with VAL and the existing and future products available.
  • Be responsible for all feedback from and related to DPs ensuring, at all times an appropriate and timely solution is applied having regard to regulatory and commercial matters including the Veezu Values.
  • Responsible for increasing brand reputation and exposure, to attract Driver Partners to the operator brand.
  • You will identify additional product lines from a hyperlocal level that provide a different service, new service or better and improved service for Driver Partners and passengers.

PEOPLE

  • Responsible for managing DPET staff team.
  • Leading on driving excellent stakeholder service delivery by and to colleagues.
  • Leading on identifying training and development needs and opportunities.
  • Working alongside Veezu HR Team to nurture and develop talent.

INFORMATION GOVERNANCE

  • Understand the data flows related to all systems across your Region, and the security measures in place.
  • Lead on cascading good working practices across your Region.

HEALTHY AND SAFETY

  • Responsible for adhering to Veezu’s Health, Safety and Compliance strategy, within your region.
  • Responsible for the implementation of Health and Safety procedures and protocol within your region.

COMPLIANCE

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment and comply with procedures relating to information security.
  • Undertake information security training and help your team understand what is required of them under the company’s information security policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example and act in compliance with GDPR, the Company’s policies and area specific requirements at all times.
  • Maintain information security to a recognised required standard in line with business needs.
  • You are committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.
