Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Co-Founder – AI Mental Health Platform (Mindora.ai) Location: Hybrid / Remote (UK / US preferred) Stage: Seed / Pre-VC Compensation: Flexible mix of salary and founding equity (discussed individually based on role fit and contribution) About Mindora Mindora is an AI-powered mental health platform dedicated to transforming ADHD assessment and treatment — making care faster, fairer, and more accessible . Founded by Dr. Bhaskar Punukollu , Consultant Psychiatrist at Nightingale Hospital, London’s leading private psychiatric hospital, Mindora bridges cutting-edge AI with clinical expertise to tackle one of the most pressing issues in mental health: access and efficiency. Our platform combines AI-assisted assessments , a clinician dashboard , patient portal , pharmacy integration , and data analytics — creating a comprehensive digital ecosystem for ADHD care. The Opportunity We’re seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the design, build, and scale of our AI-driven assessment and conversational platform. This is a founding team role , ideal for someone ready to shape the future of mental health technology at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and human experience . What You’ll Do Define and own Mindora’s technical vision, architecture, and execution roadmap. Lead development of our AI-based assessment tools, conversational interface, and real-time avatar/voice agent experiences. Architect and scale secure, cloud-native infrastructure (GCP / Firebase / AWS) with focus on performance, data privacy, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA). Integrate LLMs, multimodal AI, and speech/avatar systems into scalable production systems, and optimise said systems for stable low-latency performance. Hire, mentor, and lead a small, high-performing technical team. Collaborate closely with the founder on fundraising, partnerships, and product-market fit . Ideal Background Proven experience leading or co-founding fast-moving early-stage startups, preferably in AI, healthtech, or ML-driven SaaS . Deep understanding of machine learning, NLP/LLMs, and real-time interactive systems . Familiarity with UK GDPR and NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit compliance, with UK-region cloud deployment and data residency Understanding of MHRA medical device regulations and NHS interoperability standards (FHIR UK Core, SNOMED CT) Technical Stack: Core Languages: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript Frameworks: React, Node.js, FastAPI / Django Cloud: Firebase / GCP / AWS (with data residency compliance) AI / ML: PyTorch, MCP, OpenAI / Anthropic Claude / Speech-to-Text / Text-to-Speech APIs Avatar / Agent Tech: Unity/ HeyGen (preferred)/ Inworld / Rime / similar platforms Experience with data security, scalable architecture , low-latency and continuous deployment pipelines . Excellent communication and leadership skills, with comfort in “fast and hard” execution cycles. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or equivalent experience.
