My client, a respectable company in building and construction, are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician / Technician / Mechanic / Vehicle Maintenance Technician / Car Technician / Auto Mechanic / Van Technician / Fleet Engineer to join their team at one of the sites in Rugby.
They require an experienced Technician who can ensure their fleet of vehicles, mainly cars and vans / LCVs are back on road within the shortest time possible. This role is quite a flexible role, the important part is that the Cars and Vans in the fleet are maintained, so a Fleet Engineer / Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician / Mechanic is needed, however there may be days when all the vehicles and fleet are up together, so you could have the opportunity to learn to do heavy vehicles and plant.
This role does require someone who is able to manage their own time, as you will be the only person working on the cars and vans / fleet. Main duties of the Fleet Technician / Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician / Technician / Mechanic / Vehicle Maintenance Technician / Car Technician / Auto Mechanic / Van Technician / Fleet Engineer will be:
Service and Inspect vehicles completely and report upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance (MOT).
To interpret and implement technical service instructions data, to ensure a repair or replacement component is replaced or repaired.
To draw the Fleet Managers attention to any faults noticed in either the interests of the owner or other faults that could make the vehicle dangerous or illegal if taken out on a public highway.
To maintain, service, inspect and repair the companies cars, vans and LCVs in the fleet.
As a Fleet Technician / Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician / Technician / Mechanic / Vehicle Maintenance Technician / Car Technician / Auto Mechanic / Van Technician / Fleet Engineer you must be able to demonstrate:
Time served Technician with City & Guilds or Equivalent level 3 (Experience without qualifications will also be considered)
Routine Maintenance
General mechanical ability.
Enthusiastic, Team Player, Flexible.
