To contribute to and influence the strategy of the Tax Team; to lead and be recognised internally and externally as an expert on the tax workstream of cross-Directorate projects and on tax matters affecting The Corporation and its Members; Oversee financial reporting and tax compliance for The Corporation of Lloyd’s;
Oversee and manage BEPS Pillar 2 implementation for the Corporation of Lloyd’s;
Overseeing the Employment Tax Advisor in relation to providing employment tax advice to the Corporation;
Leading and managing the provision of support and advice to other Teams in the Corporation , in conjunction with advisers where necessary, on domestic tax projects (including new legislation) and large contracts; responding to HMRC consultations where relevant and liaison with UK tax authorities, in conjunction with advisers where necessary, to try to ensure tax rules do not disadvantage Lloyd’s vs comparable organisations;
Leading on tax risk management within the department in conjunction with the Lloyd’s Risk Function
Lead, develop and be accountable for the performance of their team
Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting and organisation
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate tax-technical issues to a non-tax audience;
Effective networking skills and ability to develop strong working relationships

Solid and broad understanding in UK corporation / employment taxes;
