As Vypr’s Research Manager you will use your Qualitive and Quantitative consumer research experience to become a trusted expert on the Vypr platform, using your skills to create best practice ways of working for our customers and internal stakeholders. You will use the Vypr platform to conduct research for our customers throughout the project life-cycle, from attending briefing sessions, deciding the methodology, running the research, summarising the results and presenting back. You will support and upskill the Customer Insights Executives and wider team, advising on best research methodologies and questioning techniques. In addition, you will conduct research for an annual insights State of the Nation Report that you will scope in concert with the Head of Research. You will also work closely with our Marketing team to help them create marketable research content, for both existing customers and prospective customers.

Currently Vypr have a fantastic reputation of providing exceptional customer research as seen by our NPS score of +75. We therefore need to create clear best practice and upskill both the research team, the commercial team and the wider business on the best methodologies to achieve robust and reliable consumer and product insights. research best practice for both internal stakeholders and customers.

As a bright, enthusiastic and highly articulate communicator, you will have at least 5 years of experience of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research while responding to customer research briefs (ideally within FMCG but experience of conducting research in other industries would also be beneficial)This will include, deciding methodology, creating research questions, conducting research summarising and presenting back. You will be able to write up project findings up into a PowerPoint presentation, telling a clear story with recommendations and next steps. The ideal candidate would have had some exposure to Product Ranging, Turf Analysis, and Product Testing. You must be able to write in an engaging and relevant way, adopting a tone that is in line with our brand guidelines.
