This Secondary SEND School, based in Northumberland is looking to appoint a passionate SEN Teacher to work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary SEND School as part of an established team, the desired SEN Teacher will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviour. This full time SEN Teacher role is long term from May ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.
The school aims to provide a high-quality, inclusive and personalised education for pupils with SEMH needs that meets their individual needs and aspirations. The desired SEN Teacher will have;
Experience of working with secondary school aged children
Experience of working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
A passion for the progress of SEND secondary school pupils
