Actions against the Police - Solicitor / Legal Executive - Manchester

This is a rare opportunity to join an award-winning Top 100 law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to individuals nationally.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Civil Liberties department, it is now seeking to appoint a Solicitor/Legal Executive to take on some unique cases and work on them from inception to conclusion.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients with civil actions, investigating and litigation experience. Some supervision and providing training to junior members will also be required.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the Inquest process along with current legislation including the Human Rights Act and the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

Solicitor / Legal Executive (grades A-C)
Experience of drafting legal documentation
Litigation experience
Experience of dealing with Legal Aid
Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
Salary - depending on experience
