A prestigious architecture and interior design firm in London is seeking a talented Project Technology Specialist to join their innovative team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about leveraging technology to enhance the practice of architecture and design.
The Role: As a Digital & BIM Specialist, you will provide vital guidance to designers and coordinators throughout various project phases, focusing on sectors such as aviation, corporate, data centers, education, healthcare, multi-family, and interior design studios. You will play a key role in the Practice Technology Group, developing and implementing best practices and workflows for all offices, with a primary focus on Revit® and its extensions. Your responsibilities will include research and development of the latest industry hardware and software, BIM leadership, and mentoring staff at all levels. Additionally, you will support the integration of Revit® products with other applications, establish workflows related to BIM, visualization, reality capture, construction administration, and computational design.
A degree in Architecture or Interior Design with over 5 years of professional experience.
RIBA & RIAI project delivery experience.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit® and other Autodesk software, especially on large-scale projects.
Experience in BIM user education.
Experience with Newforma, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Enscape, Twinmotion, Affinity, and/or building analysis tools is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360) is an advantage.
ACE project delivery experience is preferred.
You will collaborate closely with the Practice Technology Group and IT teams to support BIM and technology initiatives firm-wide. This role will also involve providing ongoing project support to ensure teams are productive and capable of achieving project goals using new technologies and workflows.
