Business Systems Engineer (ERP) – Scaling Global Engineering Business
#Location: Northern Ireland, Hybrid working

Are you a technically strong ERP / Business Systems Engineer who loves solving complex problems, improving processes, and working with data?

A rapidly scaling global engineering & manufacturing organisation is investing heavily in its digital systems landscape - and they’re hiring a Business Systems Engineer (ERP) to play a key role in that transformation.

You’ll sit within a modern Technology & Analytics function, acting as a specialist across ERP, CRM, reporting and wider business applications.

You’ll collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, supply chain and external partners to deliver improvements that genuinely move the needle.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys digging into data , shaping system behaviour, and working across the full lifecycle - from analysis and configuration to reporting and support.

Delivering 2nd & 3rd line support across ERP, CRM and key business systems
Designing and implementing ERP enhancements, data migrations, permission sets and custom objects
Creating impactful dashboards, reports and analytics (Power BI, Crystal Reports, SSRS or similar)
Working closely with the Data Architect to build out the organisation’s BI landscape
Supporting upgrade projects, integrations and system improvements with SQL and PL/SQL
Producing clear documentation, process flows, and training materials
Being a trusted go-to point for business teams and offering occasional out-of-hours support

Experience supporting ERP or CRM systems (2nd/3rd line)
Strong SQL and comfort working with complex data sets
Advanced Excel skills
Clear communication skills - able to translate technical concepts into business language
Ability to work on-site 3 days per week with travel between two locations when needed
