Information Security Manager - Central London (Hybrid Working)

In the gaming industry in North America, we are now working with some of the largest Operators in the market via integrations with their system partners. We are now recruiting for an Information Security Manager . The candidate will be the single point of contact in the business for matters related to security, data, privacy, and IT procedures. The candidate will sit between our technology and development teams, and legal, assisting on client projects where required with a critical focus on improving internal policies and procedures, with certifications.
Previous experience of working within a start-up team for a SaaS, online marketing or fintech business is highly desired. The candidate will report to the Co-CEO / Head of Legal.
Upcoming Projects & responsibilities
~We have an immediate need and requirement for certification. The candidate will lead this project, and therefore must be responsible for its delivery, maintenance, and ongoing reporting. The candidate must have experience of an ISO certification process, and be comfortable to lead on the project with limited external resources.
~ policies and procedures related to IT, cyber, and data security: the candidate will be tasked with creating, implementing, and training in this respect. This will become a more day to day requirement advising on internal and external risks and threats and advising on their mitigation. Close liaison with legal and technology teams will be expected.
~ management: there is often a requirement for us as a business to provide guidance and or replies to customers related to IT, cyber, security, data, and infrastructure.and data protection: the candidate will be reviewing current practices, procedures, and agreements with customers (new and existing) to advise on layers of compliance, and changes which might be expected or needed. minded with genuine interest to be involved in a rapidly scaling early-stage technology-led (SaaS) company;
Time management is critical;
keen to take on work which is not necessarily in immediate skill set but the best suited in the business to do so – an awareness of start up work ethic;
to software development deployment and UAT is highly beneficial. A deep understanding of systems and software delivery is also key.
working, with an expectation for continued office attendance during the initial stages of hiring with a then shift to 3/2 days remote (subject to workload and team requirements);
pool contingent on group performance assessed at FYE;
days holiday allowance increasing with length of service;
