UX/UI 3D Game Designer - Apple Vision Pro

Craft the core experience for a groundbreaking AR game

Are you a visionary designer passionate about crafting engaging gameplay mechanics and user experiences (UX/UI)? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for translating ideas into intuitive interfaces? If so, we want you on our team to develop a phenomenal game for the new Apple Vision Pro

In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind the fun You'll collaborate closely with our talented 3D and Unity development team to bring your innovative gameplay mechanics and user interface (UI) concepts to life on the Apple Vision Pro platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, iterate, and refine core gameplay mechanics that are engaging, intuitive, and leverage the unique capabilities of the Apple Vision Pro.
  • Conceptualize and develop a user interface (UI) that is clear, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing within the AR environment, prioritizing a seamless user experience (UX).
  • Work alongside the 3D team to create 3D prototypes. (Basic understanding of 3D concepts is required for clear communication and efficient collaboration).
  • Work closely with the Unity development team to ensure smooth integration of your gameplay and UI designs into the game engine.
  • Prototype gameplay mechanics and UI elements using appropriate tools (collaboration with the Unity team for technical prototyping may be involved).
  • Possess a strong understanding of game design principles and best practices for user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
  • Stay current on the latest trends and advancements in AR game design.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Game Mechanics & UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative gameplay concepts and user-centered UI designs.
  • In-depth knowledge of game design principles and methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for gaming and a strong interest in the burgeoning AR landscape.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience developing for AR platforms or similar interactive experiences.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools commonly used in game design.
  • A knack for creating user experiences that are both visually compelling and functionally intuitive.
  • Being familiar with commonly used 3D game development software is a plus. Even a basic understanding of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine and 3D modelling software like Maya or Blender can be helpful.
