Location: Brentwood, UK

Duration: Contract

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

What you’ll do:

  1. Responsible for hardware testing, producing test reports
  2. Maintain and develop automation test tools to improve overall test efficiency.
  3. Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation and recommending further investigation if required.
  4. Create and develop test plans for new technologies and new products

What you’ll bring:

  1. Engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new skills
  2. Experience using electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, Digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzers.
  3. Background in Electronics.
  4. Knowledge of compliance standards such as EMC, Radio, Safety.
  5. Experience in using test and validation methodology and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms
  6. An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate outcome of testing.
  7. UK drivers license and own car to commute to off-site test houses.
  8. Experience in working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology (non-essential)
  9. Experience in summarizing technical information with varying levels of detail, depending on audience (non-essential)
  10. Some experience in managing a test workstack (non-essential)
