In this position, you’ll be based in the Edinburgh office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.Computershare has an excellent opportunity to join our ever-growing technology department as an NOC Analyst. This position sits within our Global Tech Support (GTS) department located in Edinburgh, who support our IT systems and employees across our global sites. Our NOC Analysts are pivotal to our success; as a global market Leader in Financial Administration, Technology underpins us as the foundation of what we do. Maintaining optimal efficiency of our systems at a global scale plays a key part in ensuring Computershare continue to deliver the highest levels of service to our clients and employees around the world.
As a NOC Analyst, you’ll be part of a collaborative and skilled team responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of critical systems. Monitor overnight batch processes and respond to alerts.
Execute routine tasks using Linux command-line tools.
Use monitoring tools to track performance and detect issues in real time.
The flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and bank holidays is a must for this position, along with a weekend shift rotation (2 in every 4 weekends). We will require you to work in the office Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm during your initial 4 week induction, your shift pattern will then resume thereafter.
Shift pattern will likely be either 4 or 5 on, 4 or 5 off, working a mixture of 12-hour day/night shifts (7am – 7pm & 7pm – 7am).
Familiarity with Linux systems and strong command-line skills.
