Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Legal Cashier to join a law firm based in Stockton on Tees, County Durham. This is a full time, permanent job opportunity. The role will involve a wide range of accounting and ad-hoc administration tasks. You will benefit from 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking and company pension. Role Responsibilities The incoming Legal Cashier will be joining a team of four who are friendly and supportive. The role will be varied with the opportunity to learn other aspects of the finance function. Full training will be provided along with supervision and support. Key tasks include:
- Completing Billing
- Assisting with Completions
- Processing day to day transactions
- Posting Client & Office Bank Statements
- Bank Reconciliations
- Providing support to all Legal departments
- Archiving and general administration duties
- Audit and general control reviews
- Adhering to Solicitor Accounting Rules
- Excellent communicative & Organisational skills
- Strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Proactive with a willingness to take on new challenges
- Articulate with a strong eye for detail
- Ability to pick things up quickly whilst maintaining accuracy
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays rising with service and the option to buy/sell holidays
