Ibrand is seeking a talented and detail-oriented graphic designer with pre-press and operations expertise to join our dynamic printing and production team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for preparing client files for print production, creating print-ready designs, and overseeing operational workflows to ensure quality control and on-time delivery.

Graphic Design Responsibilities:

  • Design visually compelling graphics for merchandise, signage, garment printing, and client pitches.
  • Review client files thoroughly, ensuring adherence to printing specifications and requirements.
  • Check files meticulously, identifying and resolving potential printing issues.
  • Retouch, edit, and prepare images, illustrations, and layouts for optimal print production.
  • Create print-ready PDF files, imposition layouts, and precise color separations.
  • Adjust color profiles, trapping, and other settings for accurate color reproduction.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, ensuring designs meet their needs and print quality standards.

Operations & Production Responsibilities:

  • Oversee printing operations, coordinating jobs seamlessly through pre-press, printing, and finishing.
  • Maintain and communicate effective production schedules and order updates.
  • Liaise with clients via email and in-person regarding merchandise, signage, and garment orders.
  • Assist in production tasks and operate machinery when required (training provided).
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production cycle, maintaining high standards.
  • Implement and maintain efficient workflow processes across departments.
  • Manage printing materials and inventory to ensure sufficient supplies.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics and ensure timely delivery to clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a focus on pre-press and printing operations preferable.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, LaserCut, CorelDraw, and Shopify
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekends to accommodate seasonal workloads.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 1+ year of professional experience in a graphic design role, with pre-press experience being an advantage,
