We are working with a leading provider of insolvency data and credit risk management tools in the UK who are looking for a Strategy driven Director to help shape their current product offering.
Location: Remote with required presence in Manchester (2 days per week or 3 days over a fortnight)
Salary: up to £150,000 based on experience
Incentives: Eligible for a Management Incentive Scheme and future share options post-probation
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Product Director with a strong background in commercial credit referencing, Know Your Business (KYB), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and electronic ID verification (eIDV). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with leading companies in these sectors and will be instrumental in shaping our compliance and risk strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of compliance and risk management, with a particular focus on KYB, KYC, AML, and eIDV.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risk across the business.
- Work closely with the product and technology teams to integrate compliance requirements into our platforms and processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the compliance team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive experience in commercial credit referencing, KYB, KYC, AML, and eIDV.
- Previous employment with major industry players in these sectors.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices within the financial services industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a willingness to be on-site in Manchester as required.
Additional Information:
- This is a remote position, but regular in-person meetings in Manchester will be required.
- While there is no equity from day one, successful candidates will qualify for the company's Management Incentive Scheme and will be eligible for future share options upon passing probation.
