Smoke Ventilation Engineer Ref: N004

Site Based Position

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your career within the smoke and ventilation industry. This role is important to the future success of NSP. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Engineering

The role involves: -

Organise your time to enable safe and punctual access to your workforce.

Read drawings and install cabling and controls correctly.

Liaise with site management, customers and co-workers.

Produce daily reports. To line manager

Produce service/commissioning reports for each project you attend.

Set systems to work (commissioning).

Service existing smoke ventilation systems.

Working away is essential .

Key experience/qualifications:

ECS Gold card holder

BS7671 18th Edition

PASMA

IPAF

Skills and Capabilities:

Strong communication skills

Good fault-finding skills

Ability to train and mentor apprentices.

Ability to work on own and part of a team.

Ability to organise work in a timely and effective manner.

Working hours: Monday Friday, 8.30am 5.00pm (Permanent)

Salary: Competitive salary dependant on skills, experience, and qualifications.
