The projects are new build around the Inverness area and we are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor’s with relevant construction experience.

By joining our well-established construction teams working on our significant future pipeline of large scale civil engineering projects in various locations throughout Scotland you will work with true experts who’ll share their knowledge and provide support, encouragement and invaluable feedback so you never stop learning. Bring us your capability, and we’ll help you take it much, much further.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will have a track record in managing all costs relating to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Ideally, you will be a Chartered Member of the RICS, ICES or CIOB and will have experience of managing a small team of less experienced commercial staff.

As a SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR, you will have the following accountabilities:

Orders information and systematically checks data

Prepares Activity Schedules, Resource Schedules & analyses tender documents

Reviews complex contract programmes such as Time-Location

Analyses the commercial progress and report to senior project staff

Undertakes constructability analyses using construction programmes

Prepares procurement programme and helps develop the strategy

Analyses rates & prices, agreement of variations and or compensation events as required

Prepares, submits and negotiates claims when required

Prepares Internal reports, commercial progress and financial reconciliation

You will have the following qualities and experience:

BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
