Estimator - Windows/Glazing (Permanent)

My client is one of the best self-delivering, Civil Engineering, Tier One Main Contractors in the UK. They are known for their fantastic reputation, currently operating at a turnover of £850M per annum and have gained a brilliant reputation across the UK working on some of the largest and most prestigious projects. Some of the projects they have worked on have been Thames Tideway Tunnel, Hinckley point, London City Airport expansion, and the Olympic Park. The types of works they are famous for range from groundworks, RC structures, major earthworks, deep drainage, marine works, and piling. They have a geotechnical division within the business and they specialise in ground engineering and piling in particular. They have been trading for over 60 years and work on some of the most technically challenging projects in the UK.
They are looking for an Estimator to join the team due to winning further projects. This will be a geotechnical role where you will be looking after 6 or 7 different projects. These types of projects will include railway works, soil stabilisation on CP6 for Network Rail, piling projects, grouting on TransPennine routes, ground anchors, retaining walls, ground investigation and monitoring. This role will be based out of the Guildford office and will be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 at home. This role will involve travelling to sites so you will need to have a driving licence.

To be considered for this position, you should have experience working as an Estimator for a UK-based major infrastructure contractor. especially water, wastewater, highways and groundworks.
* Excellent skills in estimating software such as Excel, Valesco, Causeway, Conquest or Candy.
* Proven financial and commercial management skills
* Good working knowledge of NEC forms of Contract
