Hedge Fund Credit Risk VP

The Credit Risk Manager will be an integral part of a dynamic team, providing expert analysis and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making. The role demands a hands-on approach, with the Credit Risk Manager overseeing the entire credit approval process, from initial assessment to final sign-off.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Manage primary credit risk for hedge fund clients, ensuring alignment with the institution’s strategy.
– Expedite new business requests, collaborating with internal teams and opining on credit terms.
– Conduct thorough due diligence, credit analysis, and provide business recommendations.
– Monitor credit news and rating actions to manage risk effectively and take appropriate measures.
– Support the Head of Credit Risk with the management and monitoring of financial products.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
– Proven experience in hedge fund credit risk management.
– Proficiency in liaising with legal teams and interpreting credit documentation.
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide insightful recommendations.
– Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with various departments.
