Are you a Teacher with QTS looking for an opportunity to work in a specialist setting?Are you looking for an opportunity to work in an special school?Are you looking for the opportunity to enhance your professional development through gaining access to specialised training?A full-time position has arisen for a Teacher in a specialist primary school in Stratford Upon Avon for the summer term and continuing in the next academic year. The position is for a SEN teacher and is initially a temporary position; however, this position will likely turn permanent.The school are looking for a Teacher who can teach has a good understanding of the National Curriculum and P levels but can also adapt to a specialised curriculum to suit those students with more complex needs. The young people in this class are working at mid P-level, so it is essential that applicants have experience teaching to these criteria.The setting is a special needs primary school in Stratford Upon Avon and currently has 119 pupils enrolled. The school caters for pupils aged 4-11 and who have a wide range of needs including: profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and Autism Spectrum condition.To apply for this position you must be a Qualified Teacher and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN. Ideally the Teacher will have experience of working within a special school; however this is not essential as long as they can demonstrate a genuine passion and commitment for supporting pupils with SEN.To be considered for this position the Teacher will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the importance of differentiation and have the ability to assure that learning is accessible to all pupils.
