Job Description Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) Payroll Administrator

Our client is currently looking to hire an experienced Payroll Administrator for a 12-month fixed term position. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days working from home and 2 days working from their Didcot office. The Payroll Administrator will collaborate closely with the HR department to oversee the successful management of the company's UK payroll. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, proficient data entry skills, and a minimum of one year of experience in a comparable role.

Primary duties for Payroll Administrator

* Ensure the timely and precise delivery of payrolls in a professional manner that reflects a strong commitment to customer service.

* Responsible for accurately inputting payroll data for new employees, departures, and updating any necessary changes.

* Prepare monthly variance reconciliations, management reports, and fulfil ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.

Candidate specification for Payroll Administrator

* A minimum of one year of payroll experience is necessary for this position

* Strong data entry skills

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups and pivot tables
