About the role

Responsibilities and Key Activities

  • Processing end-to-end monthly payroll
  • Carry out processes relating to the payroll system, ensuring all payroll deadlines are met
  • Ensure all payroll related information is kept up to date and all employees are paid correctly
  • Answering queries and be up to date on knowledge
  • Manage and respond to all matters and queries relating to payroll
  • Process any employee advances subject to required approval
  • Coordinate payroll.
  • Any ad hoc duties and projects as required
  • Respond to queries and requests for information from statutory bodies such as HMRC
  • Ensures that payroll transactions are completed in accordance with the given deadlines.
  • Resolves employee queries within the agreed timelines
  • Checking of data entry on to the payroll system
  • Resolves employee queries within the agreed timelines
  • Manage the payroll inbox

Skills and Experience required:

  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory rule
  • Good English skills
  • Minimum of 3 years working in Payroll
