HMP Preston is a remand male prison age from 18 + and a capacity of 680. The Night Nurse will be based in the healthcare department working in the inpatient unit covering within physical health and mental health. Interview are being held on Thursday 4th December Hours Monday - Sunday - 37.5 hours per week 8.15pm - 7.45am - Nights Only 7 nights on - 7 nights on Salary This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary between £34,428 - £41,659 per annum FTE - depending on experience. What you'll be doing As a Night Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will Within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening. Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team. Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to; Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
