Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join our team in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching children with autism and other special educational needs is essential. Experience teaching children with other special educational needs is highly desirable.
- DBS: An enhanced child and adult DBS on the update service is required.
- Skills: Excellent behaviour management skills are crucial.
- Personality: We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and creative individual who can maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to support each child's learning and development.
