The Control Systems T&V Engineer will perform a pivotal role in electrification projects within Williams Grand Prix Technologies. By employing methodologies and expertise from motorsport and Formula 1, WGPT presents a unique opportunity to work with ground-breaking technologies in several areas including Aerospace, Motorsport, Marine, Industrial and Off Highway.

We are seeking a Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer – Battery Systems to lead verification and validation (V&V) activities for battery control software and electrical hardware. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of supervisory controllers, Battery Management Systems (BMS), and Cell Monitoring Units (CMUs). You will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies across MiL/SiL/HiL environments, supporting integration, calibration, and release of production-ready software.

Proven experience in developing and operating MiL/SiL/HiL testing environments, including test automation, infrastructure setup, and maintenance.
Capable of producing high-quality documentation to support software deployment, production release, and certification processes.
Proven ability to generate calibration and tuning sets for control software, including preparation of production-ready parameter configurations.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Control engineering, or a related field.
Experience with software calibration, version control, and release processes.
3, and sector-specific standards (marine, aerospace, industrial).
Appreciation of embedded systems architecture, including software-hardware interactions and timing constraints.
