Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails, £75,000

This role will suit an Engineer who has a solid grasp of Ruby on Rails and is comfortable to work as part of a relatively small tech team (6 people) based in central London.

The need to know:

Salary: £75,000

Location: hybrid role in central London 2 - 3 days a week (3 ideally). WFH or the office on the other days

‍ Tech Stack: Ruby on Rails, Postgres, GCP, Next.js, TDD

Established 2 decades ago, this company have carved out a strong presence in their niche market. Having just received an injection of investment they're ready to take the platform to the next level and want to do this the right way with the correct tools and technical practices.

You'll join the business at a pivotal time; having hired a new Head of Engineering about 6 months ago they are re-platforming to Ruby on Rails as this is more suited to the businesses needs moving forward, and you will be the most experienced Rails Engineer on the team for now, though you will still receive plenty of support from the Head of Engineering and other team members who are currently upskilling in RoR.

They have a diverse team, including members of the leadership team (female CEO and female Head of Engineering), and have a friendly culture.
