In the Operating Systems and Operating team, you will take on the position of Administrator (f/m/d) for VMware. Do you want to support us as a specialist and think outside the box? Then you've come to the right place

YOUR TASKS:- You take over the virtualization of the infrastructure based on VMware vSphere and x86 server hardware, including the lifecycle of the components
- You are responsible for the provision, operation and administration of the IT infrastructure based on Linux technologies with additional error analysis and troubleshooting
- You support the planning and conceptual design of new IT systems based on the technologies mentioned
- Among other things, you will be responsible for automation and monitoring tasks, the support of system software and interfaces and, if necessary, application development for the system software used
- As the person responsible for your areas of focus, you represent the team in working groups or on projects

YOUR PROFILE:Training in the IT environment (e.g. as a programmer) or a comparable qualification or a relevant degree and 2 years of relevant professional experience
- You have in-depth knowledge of the ESXi - VMWare environment
- You are familiar with the creation of documentation, service specifications as well as requirement and functional specifications
- You have experience in the field of automation, ideally with Ansible
- You have strong analytical skills and can understand and structure workflows, process flows and overarching relationships
- You maintain a trusting and appreciative working relationship with your team colleagues, in which you actively help shape topics and show initiative
