We are currently working with schools on a daily basis across the Wirral, including in Wallasey, Birkenhead, Bebington, Bromborough, Eastham, Moreton, Hoylake, Heswall, West Kirby, to provide last minute and advance-booked supply teaching ;
Your new role
We currently have an increasing demand for teaching supply cover from our partner schools and are looking for flexible and dedicated primary school teachers to join our team. You will be working in various schools across the Wirral, covering classes from EYFS to Year 6 appropriate to your experience, and work may also include PPA cover, intervention and booster-based work. Work available will include daily and short-term cover assignments, as well as longer-term positions. We can offer last-minute and advance-booked cover, and may be full or part-time depending on your ;
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and the school’s expectations, and may be required to plan and assess work depending on the ;
You will also be expected to follow the school’s policies and safeguarding procedures, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for Wirral primary supply teaching work you must have:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one) A minimum of 6 months of UK teaching experience in the last 2 years A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching A strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks Excellent communication and organisational skills Reliability, dedication and professionalism at all times
