The opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Loyalty Finance, you will business partner the IAG Loyalty Chief Product Officer and Chief Customer Officer and their wider teams. The role is integral to these departments and the IAG Loyalty Finance team, providing control and insight around investment decisions and support for delivery.

What you'll get up to:

  • Co-ordination and facilitation of all aspects of the IAG Loyalty investment approval process.
  • Using detailed knowledge of investment activities across the Product, Data and Customer Contact Centre teams, combined with other relevant data points and prior experience, to provide support and robust challenge to spend requests (both new and recurring) with the objective of optimising delivery across IAG Loyalty.
  • Owning the forecast for the Product, Data and Customer Contact Centre teams. Working with the business to validate key assumptions within the direction set from Group FP&A.
  • Leading the IAG Loyalty capital expenditure process to drive improved standardisation and documentation, whilst working with the group reporting team to respond to related audit queries and identify any risks.
  • Providing monthly commentary on Product, Data and CCC overheads performance, identifying risks and opportunities to the full year forecast and leveraging Anaplan to automate these processes.
  • Being the Accountable Finance Manager for all major IAG Loyalty investment projects, with responsibility for complying with IAG reporting processes and documentation where required.
  • Managing the distribution and governance of finance data for product spend within the wider IAG group and working with the IAG Loyalty Head of FP&A to ensure this is accurately reflected in the transformation plan and clearly understood by key stakeholders.
  • Leading on ad hoc initiatives related to investments across IAG Loyalty.

What we need from you:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
  • Has experience of providing finance business partner support in a complex and fast growing tech based business.
  • A passionate and engaging communicator both within IAG Loyalty and across IAG, with the ability to influence diverse audiences and build effective relationships.
  • Adaptable and self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritise demanding workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to work independently, continuously seeking opportunities for change and improvement with a ‘can do'/ ‘resolution based' attitude to make these a reality.
  • Has an innovative mind-set with a sense of urgency who is excited to create something new, iterate, and embrace the IAG Loyalty values.
  • Comfortable making decisions and can adapt to new situations and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility in a fast pace environment.
  • Has excellent verbal, written, numeracy and organisation skills, ensuring content is adapted to the relevant audience.
  • Has a high level of self-awareness, seeking feedback from peers and stakeholders.

The role has a blended base, between our Central London office and home. We trust you to make the right decision about the type of work that is best done in each location. We expect that you will achieve a roughly 50/50 split between the two.
