We have an exciting opportunity for a 12 months maternity cover for the Band 7 Allergy Clinical Nurse Specialist, based at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington. The Paediatric Allergy Day Unit is a busy unit which provides a 5-day service and supported by a team of world renowned Specialist Consultants, where staff are trained in oral food challenges, intravenous drug challenges, skin prick test, and spirometry. The post holder will work in partnership with service users and enabling their care and support by assessing and managing care of children who attend our Paediatric Allergy Day Unit and our consultant and nurse-led clinics, which includes the Hammersmith Hospital site. Aside from promoting positive learning culture, the post holder will lead on a range of risks, governance and quality improvement. The post holder will work with the MDT in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care and staff development. It is an expectation that all staff employed who come in contact with children and young people have a duty to safeguard and promote their welfare.

Has experience in autonomous nurse-led clinics or willing to engage in training
