Responsibilities

  • Design & develop a Cobot application in CAD.
  • Design & develop bespoke mechanical solutions for the project.
  • Create a virtual simulation of the application.
  • Electrical design of robotics applications, i.e. component selection and circuit design
  • Programming of industrial devices, e.g. PLCs, Safety Scanners, Vision Systems, Sensors
  • Creation of electrical schematics
  • Hardware implementation of control circuits
  • Cobot Programming
  • Arrange manufacturing of equipment and support build.
  • Liaise with software engineer and project manager to keep in line with project scope & timeline.
  • Support installation of Cobots at customers site.
  • Provide stand-by support to customer following commissioning of Cobots.

What we expect

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Controls Engineering or equivalent
  • Basic CAD & Simulation skills
  • Knowledge of programming & electrical systems
  • Mindset to innovate and go the extra mile
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Periodic business travel and a valid driving licence
  • Knowledge/Experience in Robotics/Cobots
  • Knowledge of Java and/or Python preferred
