From 1:1 tutoring to group activities, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
  • Help create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel respected and supported.
  • Support students with special educational needs or disabilities, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and implement appropriate interventions when necessary.
  • Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities, promoting positive behavior and social interactions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A passion for supporting the learning and development of students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of school life.
  • Ideally, hold relevant qualifications in education or child development (such as a Degree, CACHE Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
