You will be required to model good practice at all times and ensure all staff are working well together within the Team and to maintain the high quality childcare and education provided to all children
You will require excellent people management skills as well as good organisational skills as you multi-task within a busy environment
To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed To support the Management and team in implementing the daily routine setting up the room for the start of the day or closing down the room at the end of the day.
To follow Policies and Procedures and up to date with the staff handbook in compliance with the Childrens act and H&S legislation To lead a high quality of care for each individual child. Catering for all needs at every point of the childrens development.
To develop your role within the team especially with regard as a key worker To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS To keep a Learning portfolio of achievement file on your key children, for parents/carers; To work in partnership with the parents Support all staff and engage in a good staff team To be confident, happy and enthusiastic when working with the babies at all times.
