Epson is hiring a driven and knowledgeable Senior SAP BW Consultant to join our forward-thinking team. In this key role, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and support of SAP data warehousing and reporting solutions, helping to ensure our BI landscape aligns with Epson’s strategic business goals.
This is a remote role, but you must be based in the UK. Occasional travel to our Watford office is required for key meetings (e.g. annual kick-offs, line manager catch-ups).

System Monitoring: Check and resolve overnight batch issues as part of a team rota (during working hours)
Incidents: Investigate and resolve incidents, some of which may require development work
Service Requests: Handle various tasks that typically do not require development
Projects: Contribute to larger-scale developments as part of project teams
Team Meetings: Participate in regular discussions covering a range of team and project-related topics

Strong SAP BW Development Skills
Proven expertise in SAP BW, including BW on HANA and/or BW/4HANA
Advanced development capabilities in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization
ABAP for BW Development
Skilled in creating custom function modules, class methods, and standalone programs
Good understanding of ABAP use in BW contexts such as transformations, field routines, and custom extractors
SAP ECC Functional Knowledge (for BW Integration)
Strong understanding of SAP ECC transactions, tables, standard extractors, and BW business content data models
Essential: FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning)
~ QM (Quality Management), LE (Logistics Execution), CS (Customer Service)

Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
~ Awareness of the key differences between SAP ECC and S/4HANA from a BW perspective
