Humanities Teacher for SEN School
Are you a passionate Humanities teacher with a heart for Special Educational Needs (SEN) education? About Us: We are a leading SEN school in Tamworth, committed to providing high-quality education tailored to the unique needs of our students. Our school fosters an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff members.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student well-being and academic growth.
Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Humanities.
Experience teaching in an SEN setting, with a strong understanding of various special educational needs and disabilities.
Ability to develop and adapt teaching materials to suit individual student needs.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with SEN students.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
